Amistad, which translates to “friendship” in Spanish, signifies the friendship we have made with Hostos at Tabacalera La Isla over the last several years.

Hostos was no stranger to the cigar industry when he opened his own factory in 2020. Having worked in factory operations for Quesada Cigars, and even working as the General Manager at Cigar Rings (producer of paper cigar band), he has spent the majority of his life in and around the cigar business.
