We teamed up with Omar De Frias over at Fratello to help bring you this amazing blend. Ad Astra, or Latin for “To the Stars” is a commonly used phrase in Science Fiction and I could not think of a more perfect name to represent our first Customs with Fratello. As many of you may know, Omar formerly worked for NASA as an Analyst before creating Fratello Cigars. Omar and I both share a passion for what lies beyond our atmosphere and I knew he was on board once I shared the name of this release.

What you have before you is my first time working with aged tobacco for a Customs release. The tobacco used in this blend has all been aged for roughly three years, adding a unique and complex dynamic to the blend that would not have been otherwise possible.
